How to complain

Envelope

You can speak with a member of staff to see if they can help you sort things out

Or you can contact the Patients Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) who can also help you sort out your complaint and give you help on the complaints procedure.

If you would like to take things further and make a ‘Formal Complaint’ you can write or tell the primary care practitioner or the NHS.

If you tell someone instead of writing make sure a written record is made by the complaints manager.

Have a look at the National Patient Safety Agency Website for details of the work the NHS is doing to make things safer for people who have a learning disability
