The sixth and last Sunday of Lent.
Marks the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem and the start of Holy Week.
Crosses made from palm leaves are sometimes given to people in church that day to remember how people waved and greeted Jesus as he rode into the city that day. (These are the crosses sometimes burned the following year for use on Ash Wednesday).
