NASEN & TES Special Needs London Exhibition 2008

Moving On Up by ARC exhibited at the NASEN & TES Special Needs Exhibition in London in October 2008.

The NASEN & TES Exhibition is the only exhibition in London focusing purely on special educational needs. It was a FREE special needs teaching resources exhibition and provided the opportunity to view the latest product and service developments from over 130 Special Education Needs suppliers.

There was also a programme of professional development seminar sessions covering all areas of the curriculum.

We had a lot of fun exhibiting and met lots of interesting people; parents, teachers and professional who were all keen to learn more about Moving on Up and Transitions for people with Learning Disabilities.

Look out for more details of exhibitions we might be involved in!

The Big Map

The Big Map

This map shows some of what's going on to support people with learning disabilities from black and minority ethnic communities around England. We are trying to develop this in to a website in its own right called ‘The Big Map’. If know of or run any activities that you would like listing in this visual database please email them to Pam Smith at the BME Unit in ARC.

To view the map you need to be able to open Powerpoint documents. Just click on the picture or the words ‘The Big Map’ to start the download.
