This is to help people who are not well enough to work or their disability stops them from working.
You can get it if you are over 16 and either not in college or are on a course that is just for people with disabilities.
It is at different levels depending on how long you have not been able to work and you will need to get a letter from your doctor to say that you cannot work. You might have to have an interview and a check up from a different doctor to check you are getting the right amount of money.
