When you are ill

When you are ill, you will need to see your Doctor

Even though you are becoming an adult, you may still stay with the Doctor you have been to with your family.

You must telephone for an appointment. Somebody can make the call for you. Usually you will speak to the receptionist and they will tell you a time and day to come to the surgery (where the Doctor is).

Sometimes the health issue you are phoning about can be done by a nurse

Then you will get an appointment to see a nurse.

If you feel too ill to go to the Doctors, or they are closed, you can phone and ask for a Doctor to call.
